Congratulations to the Shanghai Volkswagen 333 Racing Team who have won the CTCC manufacturers title with the Volkswagen Lamando GTS. Rob Huff was leading the drivers championship for VW going into the final round, but withdrew to ensure it went to a Chinese driver. The manufacturer title had been VW’s target from the start of the year and they clinched it before the final race. Zhang Zhen Dong and Rodolfo Avila then topped off the season with a 1-2 in the finale to underline the performance of the EY3 Engineered car.
