After yesterdays TCR China championship win, Ma Qing Hua was looking good for the main race win in Macau, having got past pole sitter Rob Huff for the lead at the start. However on lap 2 his race ended with a massive accident just after the high speed Mandarin corner. While the car was extensively damaged, thankfully Ma escaped unhurt. The restarted race continued in the same vane with more big incidents. However after penalties for Huff for his contact with Ma, this meant the race win went to Shell Teamwork Lynk & Co Motorsport driver Jason Zhang with Sunny Wong next up, giving the team a fantastic 1-2 result. Congratulations to the team for the win, in a car that was hurriedly prepared in only the last 2 weeks – a big team effort to get the parts out to China to build the car in time, well done all!
