Car build Mechanics / Technicians (Contract / Permanent)

  • We are looking for a number of mechanics for exciting new work ramping up from Nov 2019 onward:
    • No.2/3 mechanics – working in our build shop to support car build, setup and track side activities.
    • No.1 mechanic – taking the lead role in the above activities and supervising the smooth running of our build shop.
  • These roles will include:
    • Sub-assembly of all car components, including suspension and Powertrain.
    • Full car build, including setup and shakedown.
    • Potential for high level Motorsport race and testing support depending on candidates experience / interest.
    • Fabrication, machining and composite trimming experience would be an advantage.
    • High level Motorsport experience is essential for the senior role and desirable for others, particularly touring car related.
    • UK driving license, with van and trailer or full HGV license desirable.
  • General:
    • Working to tight tolerances and deadline, whilst achieving a high level of quality and ensuring delivery schedules are met.
    • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in accordance with company policy.
    • Be prepared to work extra hours, sometimes at short notice, to meet delivery deadlines.

Production / Quality Engineer (Contract / Permanent)

  • A flexible role within our production office that can be tailored to suit the right candidate, covering some or all of the following:
    • Working from engineering drawings to plan manufacture of components and assemblies.
    • Creating and maintaining manufacturing BOM routings and operations on our MRP system.
    • Gathering data to cost parts and assemblies – material costs, labour estimates, external processes etc.
    • Raising and managing jobs for our machine shop, fabrication shop and assembly areas.
    • Liaising with internal production departments and external suppliers to ensure cost efficient, high quality and on time delivery of parts.
    • Inspection and quality control of both internally and externally manufactured parts.
  • General:
    • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in accordance with company policy.
    • Be prepared to work extra hours, sometimes at short notice, to meet delivery deadlines.
    • Ad-hoc duties as required, to meet the needs of the business
    • Ideally with some previous hands on CNC machining and Welding/fabrication experience.
    • Candidates with a range of experience levels will be considered as training will be given.

CNC Machinist (Permanent)

  • Posted 16th Aug 2019, closing date 23rd Sept 2019.
  • Using engineering drawings, set and operate CNC and manual machines.
  • Manufacture components, under supervision of the machine shop supervisor.
  • Working to tight tolerances and deadline, whilst achieving a high level of quality and ensuring delivery schedules are met.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in accordance with company policy.
  • Be prepared to work extra hours, sometimes at short notice, to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ideally with at least 3 years machine shop experience.

Welder / Fabricator (Contract / Permanent)

  • Posted 16th Aug 2019, closing date 23rd Sept 2019.
  • Using build manuals and engineering drawings, modify bodyshells and manufacture component parts under the supervision of a senior technician.
  • Fitting and welding to a high standard, using MIG and TIG welding.
  • Working to tight tolerances and deadline, whilst achieving a high level of quality and ensuring delivery schedules are met.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in accordance with company policy.
  • Be prepared to work extra hours, sometimes at short notice, to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ideally with some previous bodyshell and at least 3 years general fabrication experience.
