Machinist (CNC & Manual) – Permanent / Contract

EY3 is a small agile engineering company, specialising in the design and manufacture of winning Motorsport competition vehicles. The machine shop supports our Motorsport programs, as well as manufacturing parts for a wide variety of other industries. Having recently purchased additional machines, we are looking for an experienced Machinist to join the team and increase our capacity and capabilities.

The successful candidate will have:

• The ability to machine parts to a high standard in Aluminium, Stainless and Mild Steel, using both manual and CNC machines.
• Can program and set CNC machines, both turning and milling. Ideally with experience of Fanuc and Haas controls, plus Fusion 360 software.
• Toolmaking or similar experience would be a big benefit.
• Work to tight tolerances and motivated to achieving a high level of quality whist ensuring delivery schedules are met.
• We require a self-starter, who can read and work from detailed technical drawings and CAD models and can safely operate manual and CNC machinery.
• Previous work in the motor sport, food industry, automotive or aerospace sectors is a benefit, as the company customer base is diverse.
• Be prepared to work extra hours (paid) to meet delivery deadlines if required.
• Ideally with at least 5 years machine shop experience.
