The TCR World tour was back this weekend after the summer break for the South American leg. Santiago Urrutia had huge backing from his fellow Uruguayans and put that to good use taking a win from pole position in the first race, to the delight of the fans. Cyan Racing Lynk & Co team mate Thed Björk followed him home in second. In race 2 it was the turn of Ma Qing Hua to take the win from reverse grid pole – a win for a Chinese driver in a Chinese car on the World stage! Championship leader Yann Ehrlacher had a solid weekend moving forward in race 1 and claiming P3 in race 2 to increase his lead. The blue cars taking an impressive 4 of the 6 available podium places this weekend.
Well done all!
