Santiago Urrutia had a weekend to remember as he completed a hat-trick of victories across the three FIA TCR World Tour races of Valencia. The Cyan Racing Geely Preface driver is the first to achieve that feat, which has propelled him into the championship lead. He now leads team mate Thed Björk by 20 points. Current world champion Yann Ehrlacher had looked like the man to beat having topped a Geely 1-2-3 in qualifying. However luck was not on his side in the Valencia races and will hope for a reversal in fortunes for the next round at Paul Ricard in less than 3 weeks time.
