A fitting debut for the all-new Geely Preface TCR, saw Chinese driver Ma Qing Hua take the first win for the Chinese manufacturer on its debut race weekend. Ma had to fight through to the front, but once there was able to establish a gap and bring home the win. He was joined on the podium by teammate Thed Björk in 3rd. Earlier in the weekend, reigning champion Yann Ehrlacher had secured a podium on the first race, which leaves him heading the blue cars in the championship standings from 2nd-5th place overall. A fantastic start to a new era, well done to all involved in bringing another race winner to the grid!
